Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Texas requiring at least one year of recent ED experience and a valid TX or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shift position with hours from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient population consists of emergency and acute care cases
- Professional references required for consideration as per state guidelines
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for eligibility
- No first-time travelers accepted for this position
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum one year of recent experience in an Emergency Department
- Current AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification required
- CPI or equivalent de-escalation training required for all ER staff
- TNCC certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
