Seasonal Registered Nurse ICU

We have an exciting opportunity 's Georgetown Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare.
Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAn RN in the ICU will perform patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, and manage delegated care.
- Perform and document admissions assessments.
- Create and update care plans, including discharge plans and regular evaluations.
- Document outcomes of nursing interventions and patient responses.
- Provide education to patients and families.
- Administer medications and complete treatments per hospital policy.
- Perform venipuncture, maintain IV fluids and medication.
- Review physician orders and ensure correct execution.
- Notify charge nurse or physician of changes in patient status.
- Provide accurate patient information reports to ensure continuity.
- Care for critically ill patients with central/invasive lines, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
- Care for unstable cardiac, immediate post‑op, and potential organ or tissue donor patients.
Experience:
- 1 year as RN in an acute care setting.
- Recent critical care/clinical nursing experience preferred.
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licenses and
Certifications:
- Current Texas state RN license or Compact RN license (Texas license within 90 days of hire if Compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
