Job Overview

Gun Production Specialist – Staccato, Florence, TX Staccato manufactures handguns and ammunition in America. The 2011® platform is used by over 1,600 U.S. law‑enforcement agencies. Staccato guarantees its guns for life and supplies 9mm ammunition to its ammo service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble firearms and components according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Use power and hand tools on raw metals to complete initial fitting of firearm components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of components and finished products to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform functional testing on firearms to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • Identify and report defects or deviations from specifications, collaborating with quality control to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of production numbers, including assembly, inspection, and testing results.
  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in firearms production.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly and inspection tasks.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Basic understanding of firearm mechanics and safety preferred.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be available Monday through Friday and Thursday, 10‑hour days.
