Perky Beans Coffee is coming to Georgetown! We’re looking for a passionate, people‑forward Store Manager to help bring our signature Perky Beans experience to life in our newest location. As the leader of this brand‑new store, the Store Manager will play a hands‑on role in opening the shop, building a strong team from the ground up, and leading all hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.
The position sets the tone for cultivating warm hospitality, coaching and developing a high‑performing staff, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and connected. - Oversee all aspects of day‑to‑day operations and staff management as a working manager.
- Be a role model, facilitator, trainer, and able employee in all positions.
- Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products served and service given to guests while also achieving objectives for sales and growth.
- Staff hiring, training, management, and scheduling.
- On‑board and train new hires, using hands‑on techniques to assess skills and conduct training.
- Conduct daily briefings on matters of importance to the team.
- Actively involve with staff, regularly observing and coaching on performance; celebrate successes and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Perform employee reviews and conduct ongoing coaching and training sessions to ensure high levels of performance. Continue to develop all staff in managerial and professional skills to build future leadership.
- Monitor quality and execution; demonstrate proper techniques as needed.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Conduct regular product inventories to ensure that proper levels are stocked and assess ordering patterns and changes.
- Place orders from appropriate vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences.
- Actively participate in developing and implementing marketing and promotional activities and campaigns.
- Manage all necessary repair and maintenance issues.
- Consistently monitor financial controls and reports to assure objectives are met in sales, costs, labor, etc.
- Create and maintain a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment for all employees.
- Actively participate in company growth objectives and projects; identify goals and objectives for yourself and the team to contribute to and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- 1–2 years of coffeehouse management experience required.
- 1–2 years of high‑volume drive‑thru experience preferred.
- Availability to work any schedule is required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Customer service focus and a sense of urgency are a must.
- Must be able to work in our Leander location until the Georgetown location is ready to open.
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year
