Position Summary

The Clinical Services Manager is a dynamic, hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring that clinical services are delivered with the highest standards of fidelity, quality, and customer care. This position blends clinical expertise with operational oversight, requiring the manager to provide direct services such as individual and group psychotherapy and psychoeducation, while also supervising the overall clinical care and treatment provided at designated Mindful Health location(s).

The Clinical Services Manager plays a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and fostering a culture of excellence in behavioral health service delivery.

Education / Experience
  • A master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, or behavioral science field from an accredited college or university.
  • The Program Manager must be actively licensed (LCSW/LPC/LMFT) in the State of Texas to provide independent clinical care, treatment, and services. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical assessment & diagnosis with a focus on the treatment and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges (preferred). Experience in a group programming setting such as Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Services and knowledge of the group therapeutic setting.
  • Willingness to pursue certification in valued treatment modalities.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Current CPI Certification.
Job Duties
  • Assists the Clinic Director with supervising therapists and oversees training new staff to ensure clinical integrity of programming and that regulatory standards are met.
  • Contributes to 90‑day evaluations and annual reviews of clinical staff.
  • Audit charts to ensure compliance in participation with the Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Process and regulatory standards.
  • Review charts relating to accurate and timely completion of documentation.
  • Provide oversight of group, individual, family and couples therapists to ensure compliance with Mindful Health policies and processes.
  • Disseminates information from Director of Clinical Services and other leadership to therapists.
  • Attend daily Flash meetings and complete follow up items presented during the meeting.
  • Monitor clinical documentation and discharge planning to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical integrity.
  • Leads regularly scheduled Treatment Team meetings for PHP/IOP and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Ongoing and consistent collaboration with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of utilization review and criteria for continued stay and discharge.
  • Familiar with external referrals for individual, couples, and family therapy.
  • Provide or assign individual psychotherapy sessions.
  • Provide or assign group psychotherapy and psycho‑educational groups according to PHP/IOP program schedule.
