Autism Behavior Technician

Overview

Bright Path Behavior in Round Rock, TX is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You will work one-on-one with children in individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs, implementing therapy plans under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help children develop essential skills, track progress, and adjust strategies to meet each client’s unique needs.

Pay: from $18–$25 per hour based on experience and certification level.
Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RBTs!

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to clients based on individualized treatment plans
• Support BCBAs by implementing behavioral interventions and skill-building strategies
• Address problem behaviors and teach functional skills (e.g., communication, social, self-help)
• Collect and submit accurate data on client progress
• Maintain thorough session records, including treatment notes and timesheets
• Communicate effectively with team members about client care
• Accept feedback and adjust interventions as directed by supervisors
• Uphold client confidentiality and privacy
• Demonstrate understanding of ABA principles and techniques
• Obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire (or provide proof of completion)
• Assist in preparing therapy materials and other tasks as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR & BLS certification preferred, not required — we’ll train you
• RBT certification preferred, not required — we’ll train you
• Valid, current driver’s license or state-issued  & current car insurance on vehicle
• Working toward or has obtained a degree in Behavioral Science or related fields (e.g., Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education) preferred
• Fluency in English required; bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
