Entry Level Phlebotomy

Job Description

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and as a phlebotomist to support plasma center operations.

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on customer safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lb.; occasionally up to 32 lb.; rarely up to 50 lb.
• Fine‑motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Because of potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level 1), 90 % of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• One or more years of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.

Location:

USA – TX – Georgetown.

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $17.00. The actual hourly wage offered will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements.
