Part Time Weekends - Licensed Therapist Fri‑Sat‑Sun
We are searching for Licensed Clinicians (LPC‑I, LPC, LMSW, LMFT, LMFT‑A) for a Part Time Weekend position. This will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday days. The ideal candidate will have experience in Inpatient psychiatric services. Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Clinician will provide therapeutic group and individual services to adult, adolescent or child patients for emotional or substance abuse problems.
Responsibilities- Provide therapy in individual and group settings.
- Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Demonstrate sound application of Cognitive Behavioral Theory and methodology.
- Contribute effectively to discharge planning.
- Plan and prepare clinical activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Education:
Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology). - Licenses: LPC‑I, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or LMFT‑A required.
- Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare field or a combination of education and experience; inpatient psychiatric experience preferred. - Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Excellent communication, assessment, evaluation, and interpretation skills. - Knowledge of psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses and treatments; flexibility; teaching or training skills helpful; understanding of DSM III‑R methodology.
- Advanced clinical skills in diagnosis and treatment of mental health; knowledgeable of patient rights and laws pertaining to mental health.
- Basic PC skills including Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and typing 30 WPM.
- Excellent communication skills, good listener with a pleasant demeanor encouraging engagement.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize with strong time management skills.
- Screening:
Must successfully pass background check, drug screen, physical, and provide positive employment references. - Physical Demands:
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions; other sensory and communicative demands typical for clinical work.
