Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
As a CPI Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a critical role partnering with the site team to coordinate safety and environmental programs that promote a healthy and safe working environment at our Georgetown, Texas location.
Responsibilities- Provide support on environmental health and safety compliance to site personnel at the Georgetown/Round Rock locations under the direction of the EHS Manager.
- Maintain skills and knowledge required to perform duties and stay up-to-date on state and federal regulations.
- Inspect the facility to identify hazards, determine corrective measures and ensure compliance with CPI safety standards and government regulations.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health and safety management systems and record‑keeping processes.
- Lead or assist in investigating accidents and incidents, identify causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Champion a culture of safety through visible leadership, recognition, communication and enforcement of procedures.
- Consult and coordinate with site leaders regarding existing and new safety procedures.
- Maintain environmental compliance programs such as Tier II, stormwater permits, and hazardous waste.
- Analyze incident data to identify trends in injuries, illnesses, accidents, or other hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate and facilitate Safety Committee meetings and related projects.
- Deliver and support safety training programs, collaborating with the Training Department to develop materials as needed.
- Maintain hygiene programs such as noise and air‑quality surveys.
- Maintain or update emergency‑response plans or procedures.
- Serve as site contact for regulatory agencies, insurance representatives, and consultants in the absence of the EHS Manager or when assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.
- Coordinate key stakeholders in developing CPI’s EHS management software, supporting modules for incident reporting, training, document management, auditing, and dashboard development.

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or environmental management (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or comparable health, safety, & environmental field.
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.

Location & SalaryGeorgetown, Texas – Salary Range: $52,400 – $76,500 (yearly).
