- Opportunity to work remotely, in part, based on a virtual panel of patients that you develop
- Comprehensive compensation package with competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 403(b)
- Vacation: 15 days per year, increases with tenure; 3 days of personal leave, 6 days of sick leave, and 7 days of holiday leave per year
- Annual stipend and 5 paid days off for continuing education
- Reimbursement of provider's professional licensing fee and annual membership dues to their professional organization, after being established with LSCC
- Eligibility for student loan repayment through external federal and state programs for mental health professionals
- Board-certified rheumatologist passionate about serving underserved populations with barriers to care
- Comfortable providing care both in person and virtually; interested in growing a practice with patient collaboration in an outpatient setting
- Mission-focused and proactive in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Able to work independently in a group setting and seek support/consultation from colleagues
- Current valid license to practice in the State of Texas
- Ability to interact with community partners and emergency/psychiatric services to ensure patient safety when higher levels of care are needed
- Strong computer/technology skills to document in electronic health records, conduct telemedicine visits, and collaborate with colleagues virtually
