Primary Objectives for this Leadership Position:
- Direct and manage the overall K‑12 extracurricular athletic programs for Gateway College Preparatory School in Georgetown, TX.
- Ensure compliance with all University Interscholastic League (UIL), Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL), National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), and other athletic league rules that the school participates in.
- Develop and maintain the athletic department budget.
- Grow the student‑athlete participation numbers.
- Ensure all varsity athletic teams are competitive as evidenced by consistent qualification for post‑season playoffs, with sub‑varsity and lower age teams finishing consistently in the top three in district standings.
- For the gifted athletes who want to play at the next level after high school, ensure that each sport offered will physically prepare, and academically qualify those athletes for a scholarship to a college or university that fits them.
