Carus Dental Georgetown University is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Location:
950 University Ave. Suite 101 Georgetown, Texas 78626
Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 7:30am‑4:30pm with some Fridays as needed
1 doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix. 60‑minute re‑care appointments, 90‑minute new patient appointments. SRP – hygienist discretion. Bi‑weekly, hourly pay with option to receive daily pay. Ability to earn daily and quarterly bonuses. We have Arestin, iTero, Velscope, and CE coverage available.
Full time is a minimum of 30 hours to receive the full benefits package, which includes health insurance, paid holidays, 401(k), dental, vision, wellness benefits, and more.

- Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
- As part of our commitment to a safe and healthy environment, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This test will be arranged during the pre‑employment process and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
