Key Responsibilities- Provide pastoral care and encouragement to the worship team (band, praise team, choir, and winds).

- Facilitate a culture of prayer and spiritual readiness within the worship department.
- Lead worship for Sunday morning services and the Wednesday evening prayer gathering as well as our quarterly Family Meetings.
- Select songs that align with our "contemporary" style, drawing from the church’s established song library to maintain consistency and expand our library in conjunction with team input.

- Arrange or adapt music as needed to accommodate the full ensemble.
- Collaborate closely with the Associate Worship Leader and Worship Ministry Assistant to ensure seamless Sunday/Wednesday execution.
- Work in tandem with the Tech Team (audio, visual, lighting) to ensure high-quality production and clear communication.
- Manage scheduling and service flow through Planning Center (or equivalent software).
- Pastoral Heart: A demonstrable ability to shepherd volunteers and navigate the emotional dynamics of a team in transition.
- Vocal & Musical Range: Strong "front person" presence with the ability to lead a diverse range of musical styles (hymns to contemporary).
- Collaborative Spirit: A "team-first" mentality with no hesitation in sharing the platform or highlighting the gifts of others.
- Experience: Previous experience leading a full band, choir, and instrumentalists is highly preferred.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with worship software (Planning Center, Pro Presenter) and a basic understanding of live sound/tech needs.
- Reporting To: Executive Pastor.
- Time Commitment: 15–20 hours per week (includes Sundays, Wednesday rehearsals, Wednesday prayer gathering, and administrative planning).
- Expected Duration: Approximately 9 months or until a permanent Worship Pastor is seated.
- Compensation: Contact Michael Sawyer, Executive Pastor, msawyerrch.
