Hourly: $10.00 to $13.00 per hour

Commission based on transactions, up to 8% plus base hourly wage.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate thrives on engaging with customers and assists with inquiry and problem resolution.

They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise display.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Employees may be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan Information:
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission, based on gross profit of their personal performance. Details provided during interview.
