Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: 101 Carley Court, Georgetown, KY 40324

Shifts: Day & Night (12-hour shifts: 7:00–7:20, alternating 4 days/3 days per week)

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic plant production machinery, support equipment, building systems, and other equipment to maintain optimum operating conditions and plant productivity.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for layout of wiring and equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an industrial environment.
• Ensure electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely for electrical installation and connection.
• Test electrical systems for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
• Install switch gear, motors, transformers, PLCs, robotics, servo drives, and other machinery.
• Write, program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC logic, CNC machines, robotics, and electronic equipment.
• Create HMI applications, program ladder logic, and set up network communications.
• Assist in training maintenance employees and increasing trade skills.
• Participate in assigned training programs for skill development.
• Work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.

• Industrial Electrician experience is a plus.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems.
• Familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Technical knowledge in PLCs, computers/IT, hydraulics/pneumatics, motion/motor control, welding, and machining.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled, dirty environment (graphite exposure).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

• Electrical degree, diploma, or certification.
• State Journeyman’s Electrical License (current or expired).

• Adhere to all safety rules.
• Must pass hair follicle drug test, background check, E-Verify, and physical exam.
• Work any shift as needed.
• Overtime at 1.5x pay after 36 hours (week
  1) and after 40 hours (week
  2).
