Georgetown Eye Care is a boutique optical shop focused on delivering exceptional vision care and personalized eyewear experiences. We are seeking a licensed optician or experienced optical dispenser who enjoys helping patients select the right eyewear, providing expert advice, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Training is available for the right candidate!
Responsibilities- Assist patients with frame selection, fittings, adjustments, and repairs
- Educate patients on vision care products and recommend eyewear based on lifestyle and daily needs
- Take precise measurements for lenses and frames (lens fitting)
- Submit lab work orders accurately and manage follow-up
- Provide guidance on contact lens care and ordering
- Support patients with optical insurance claims
- Maintain a high standard of customer experience and professional service
- Licensed Optician or experienced Optical Dispenser (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a focus on patient satisfaction
- Experience in optical retail or eyewear styling preferred
- Familiarity with optical technology and prescription glasses a plus
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, NO WEEKENDS
