Service Leader – Chipotle Mexican Grill

The Opportunity

The Service Leader maintains a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high‑quality food is prepared and served and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. The role requires being on the line while clocked in, evaluating other tasks when not busy and assisting teammates.

What You’ll Do
  • Make sure great tasting, high‑quality food is served.
  • Help resolve food quality issues.
  • Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, secondary shelf lives, and ensuring daily food safety checks are followed.
  • Resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
  • Develop and cross‑train all front‑of‑house crew.
  • Assist with crew performance reviews.
  • Develop future Service Leaders.
  • Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork.
  • Ensure office equipment is in working order and supplies are ordered as needed.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
  • Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food with Integrity philosophy.
  • Knowledge and experience with cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health‑department matters.
  • Familiarity with office paperwork.
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • High school diploma.
  • Restaurant experience.
