Plant IT System Administrator

We are currently seeking a Plant IT Systems Administrator that will be responsible for providing plant support and maintenance for PC, LAN, and WAN workstations/servers, networks, telephones, and related infrastructure.

• Support customers with I.T. issues and resolutions.
• Test and evaluate software and solutions to determine compatibility with existing systems.
• Coordinate the implementation of new features and enhancements to existing systems.
• Analyze and recommend upgrades to hardware and/or software.
• Work within company guidelines to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Ensure all systems are properly maintained and supported.
• Monitor performance and ensure systems are working properly and to optimum levels.
• Troubleshoot and correct problems as they occur.
• Countermeasure issues in a timely manner to support JIT operations.
• Communicate changes and facilitate or organize training to ensure the user community can use systems effectively.
• Assist in implementing systems or methods to record and track user questions and trouble calls.
• Review trouble tickets to implement solutions to eliminate root causes.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all layers of the corporate hierarchy.
• Comply with company and customer information/data security policies.
