Job Title:
Radiation Oncology Physician Overview:
Join our esteemed healthcare team as a Radiation Oncology Physician and play a vital role in delivering high-quality cancer care to our community. In this pivotal position, you will provide specialized radiation oncology services, ensuring patients receive accurate diagnosis, effective treatment plans, and compassionate support.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients lives while working within a collaborative and innovative medical environment.
Required Skills:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board Certification or Eligible in Radiation Oncology Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain one Proven expertise in radiation therapy procedures and oncology treatment protocols Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with advanced radiation delivery systems (e.g., IMRT, SBRT, proton therapy) Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Prior experience working in a community or academic setting Additional language skills to serve diverse patient populations Preferred
Education and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in radiation oncology Proven track record of patient-centered care and collaborative practice Other Requirements:
Availability to start as soon as possible, with flexibility for scheduling Ability to travel if required for consults or training Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are preferred Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to safety protocols This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dedicated oncology team while enjoying competitive compensation.
