** Summary
* * Provides expertise and analysis to managers and other employees within the department while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. Works with minimum supervision.
** What You'll Do
*** Establish and maintain Corporate Accounting policies and procedures
* Support accurate financial reporting by the company in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
* Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
* Oversee internal control monitoring within the department and support internal controls audit
* Support annual financial statement audit and quarterly reviews
* Provide technical accounting expertise and research complex accounting issues
* Monthly financial statement review and variance analysis
* Obtain variance explanations and report to management
* Review monthly Corporate balance sheet reconciliations
* Review post-closing reports and deliverables
* Develop and maintain financial reports within reporting software
* Resolve problems & issues and implement methods for continuous improvement
* Other duties may be assigned
** What You Need
** Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and at least 6 – 9 years of experience in related field. Public accounting and monthly closing experience preferred, but not required.

CPA preferred.
