Creole Interpreter - In Person

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability.

Language needed:Creole - Immediate need

Location: Sussex County, Delaware
- IN-PERSON

• Flexible schedule

• Great way to supplement your income.
• Potential for 5-10hours a week.

• Travel to local client sites, within the Sussex County, Delaware area
• Provide Creole-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and more
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

• Full fluency in both English and Creole
• Daytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 5PM)
• Availability to support our interpreting clients 5-10hours a week
• Access to reliable transportation
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not required
• Candidates mustbe willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry
• Must have reliable phone service for contact
• Must be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job input
