Senior Accountant – R70 000 k/m CTC - George, Western Cape

An established and growing international water management, engineering and infrastructure business is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in George
. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys improving systems, strengthening financial controls, and contributing to strategic decision-making within a dynamic organization.

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and international reporting standards
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, provisional tax, and other statutory submissions
• Support annual financial statements and coordinate the year-end audit process
• Manage and review accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Contribute to financial system improvements and internal control processes
• Provide guidance to junior finance team members and collaborate with operational teams

• BCom Accounting (or equivalent)
• 10+ years’ relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of South African tax and statutory requirements
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Professional registration (SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA)
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environments
• Previous experience with international financial reporting processes (USA)
