Credit Controller

Overview

Our client, a well-established business based in George, operates within the food, transport, security, and hygiene products sectors, supplying solutions to the business and commercial market. They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their team.

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably handling large accounts
• A Diploma in Credit Management (Advantageous)
• Strong understanding of credit control principles and credit risk management
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
• Confident, firm, and fair approach to credit control

• Manage and maintain the debtors’ book, ensuring strict credit control
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding outstanding accounts
• Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients before approval
• Follow up on overdue accounts and engage with clients to resolve payment delays
• Work with large, high-value accounts and ensure compliance with credit terms
• Perform ad hoc administrative duties, including:
• Sending statements
• Providing payment confirmations
• Reporting on paid and unpaid accounts

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

R 18 000 Cost to Company

Monday - Friday: 08h00 - 16h30

Additionally, some weekends if month starts over a weekend
