SAIPA Trainee Accountant

Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in accounting? Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing assurance firm in the Garden Route, George, is seeking SAIPA Trainee Accountants for their 2026 intake.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants (SA) and Registered Auditors, where you will gain hands‑on experience, comprehensive training, and exposure to a wide range of accounting and auditing services
.

• Completed Accounting or related qualification (degree, diploma, or certificate) from an accredited institution.
• Ambitious, self‑motivated individuals who thrive in a team environment but can also work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Driver’s license and own transport required.

• Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance (debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals).
• Prepare and review VAT and PAYE calculations and submissions.
• Handle invoicing, debtors’ collection, and IRP5 reconciliations.
• Maintain SARS accounts and assist with tax registrations and clearances.
• Process UIF, SDL, EMP
  201 submissions, and WCA returns.
• Liaise with clients and provide accurate financial reporting.

• BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting
  , or equivalent.
• Computer literacy (MS Office and accounting software).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
