RINA is currently recruiting for a Principal CSP - Construction Safety Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Italywithin the Civil Engineering Division.
Mission
The role is focuses on ensuring integration ofhealth and safety requirements in compliance with Legislative Decree 81/08, supporting the development of technical documents, project schedules, and cost estimates.
Key Accountabilities
Prepare the Safety and Coordination Plan (PSC).
Develop and update the Safety File.
Implement prevention and protection principles in the design phase.
Analyse interference risks and propose technical/organizational solutions.
Collaborate with designers, clients, and technical stakeholders.
Verify and estimate safety costs.
Produce technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
Support tender and procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
Produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates using Primus DCF. #LI-MT3
Education
Master’s Degree in Construction and Environment or Civil Engineering
Other
Qualifications

Degree in Civil, Building, or Environmental Engineering.
Certification as Safety Coordinator under Legislative Decree 81/08.
5+ years experience in civil and infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08 and health & safety regulations.

Experience with

PSC, Safety File, and safety cost estimation.
Ability to identify and mitigaterisks.
Proficiency inAutoCAD, Project, Primavera, Primus-K, Primus DCF.
Teamwork inmultidisciplinary environments.
Communication with technical stakeholders.
