.NET Developer

The .Net Developer is a member of the Software Development Team, a division of the IT Department, and will work closely with the business and other development team members to provide technical solutions, design, develop and support new and existing applications needed from the business.

Manage multiple concurrent projects to completion on-time and on-budget

Utilize the Dev Ops management process for development, testing and migration of code to production

Provide pertinent documentation on applicable changes to systems and process flow

Ensure application design fits within holistic vision and future state of existing systems

Establish, maintain and ensure compliance with standards and procedures for design, development, testing, and documentation, contributing to high quality, reliable systems that meet the business needs

Formulates and defines scope, objectives and technical direction for new or modified web applications and leads systems analysis, design, development and implementation efforts

Development, refactoring, maintenance and end-user support of new and existing C# applications (.NET Framework 4.0 and later); C# integrations (ETL, SSIS) and Reporting solutions (Power

BI, SSRS)

Manage enterprise reporting platforms including maintenance, user support and development of new reports

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or any related field dealing with Technology/Engineering.

3+ years recent IT experience with progression in Microsoft development technologies that include C# development (Entity Framework, LINQ);
Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST Services, Angular, Bootstrap);
Visual Studio 2019 and later; .NET Framework 4.0 and later;
Web Services

Strong knowledge and use of main design patterns and multi-tier architecture, SOLID principles

Proficiency using GIT, automated testing, continuous integration, pipelines, development of Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure App Services

Understanding of Microsoft Azure Infrastructure

Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, SSIS and database and data warehouse design

Power BI and/or SSRS report development

Excellent team-player

Able to multi-task and prioritize workload according to company priorities and critical issues

Able to quickly learn new concepts and software

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Fluent in English

Commodity Trading and Finance knowledge

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations experience

Understanding of trading business processes, software and data models

Microsoft Azure, .NET, SQL Server certified

Data warehouse architecture

Python development and knowledge of Python libraries
