Electrical Technician; Cabling Project Officer

40 hours per week

You will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and supervising signal and power cabling activities within complex technical infrastructures in Geneva.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Analysing cable installation requests and liaising with requestors to obtain missing technical information
• Conducting on-site technical surveys and preparing detailed cabling plans
• Defining cable routing, preparing bills of quantities, and establishing cost estimates
• Documenting new cable installations and modifications in the internal cable database
• Preparing comprehensive technical documentation for electrical installation contractors
• Supervising on-site execution of cabling works, including daily progress reporting
• Acting as Works and Services Supervisor in compliance with safety regulations
• Performing inspection, validation, and acceptance of completed works

The work environment includes large-scale technical infrastructures such as underground tunnels, experimental areas, technical galleries, raised floors, radioactive zones, and work at height.

• Solid experience (5–10 years) in electrical installation and coordination of major cabling projects
• Strong knowledge of signal and power cables, connectors, and installation procedures
• Proven experience in site supervision and contractor coordination
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work both in the field and on technical documentation
• Secondary technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
