Assistant Electrician

JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant Electrician collaborates with the Electrical department in order to proactively and efficiently address the assigned duties and responsibilities.

• Follow the instructions of the Chief Electrician concerning methods and procedures for the maintenance of the electrical equipment.
• When necessary, help the Electricians in the maintenance of hotel machinery.
• Work always in accordance with acceptable standards, avoiding wastage of materials, and always respecting all injury prevention rules.
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of electricians workshop, electrician rooms and tools.
• Daily check and replacement of burned lamp.

• Intermediate oral and written English (working & Safety language of the Company). Any additional language is valuable (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Russian or French,..)
• Previous work experience in a similar position within MSC or other Cruise company or in a related field and willingness to train;
• High School Graduate with appropriate licenses as required;
• Team player and proactive.

Possess valid passport and seaman book.
