As part of Hilton Geneva’s growth and commitment to excellence, we are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our Commercial team. This is a great opportunity for an organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented individual to support the Sales department and contribute to the hotel’s commercial success.
The Sales Coordinator implements all sales activities within his / her area of responsibility, under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Sales, in coordination with the Commercial Director. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth coordination of sales efforts, effective internal communication, and a high level of service to our clients.
This position comes at an exciting time as we continue to strengthen our commercial team following the major reopening of our hotel after extensive renovations. You will actively support the positioning of our refreshed product in the market and the development of our business across all segments.
What will I be doing ?- Identify new contacts, generate and develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Contact potential clients and build strong business relationships through proactive communication.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for the Director of Sales, including reports on appointments, calls made, and business leads.
- Coordinate follow‑up actions between Sales team members and other departments related to sales activities.
- Update and maintain sales systems and databases, including handling and directing sales‑related correspondence.
- Administer and coordinate sales activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure sales collaterals and promotional materials are available at all times.
- Support internal communication through departmental briefings, liaison with other departments, and team member relations.
- Issue sales‑related communications and information internally and externally as required.
- Enhance and promote effective responses to customer needs, ensuring a high level of service.
- Maintain strong visibility of the hotel within the local market through telephone calls, written communication, and direct contacts.
- Assist Sales Managers and Sales Executives with hotel inspections for walk‑ins, meeting groups, and contracted clients.
- Perform related duties and support special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales.
- University degree.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within an international hotel chain.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and French; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations during busy periods.
- Team‑oriented mindset with previous hotel experience.
- Good knowledge of the local market and an interest in marketing and sales trend analysis.
