Overview

On a temporary position, we are looking for a Legal & Compliance Specialist who will assist the Head of Legal in the management of a wide range of legal and compliance matters and provide support to our client business and operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drafting, review, and negotiation of wide range of agreements (distribution and licensing agreements, manufacturing agreements, services services, intercompany agreements, IT agreements, R&D related agreements etc.).
  • Drafting, review and management of other legal and corporate documents (POAs, Resolutions, Meeting Minutes).
  • Collaborate with external legal counsels and other advisors as necessary.
  • Providing support in the management of trademark and patent portfolios.
  • Assist developing, upgrading and implementing compliance programs, policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the conduct of internal audits and/or investigations to monitor adequate implementation of policies and procedures and prevent any compliance issues.
  • Assisting and advising business and operations by providing adequate legal support to day-to-day operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on legal and compliance matters.
Skills and Experience Needed for the Position
  • Prior experience in a similar role. Experience in Medical Devices and/or pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced and dynamic international environment.
  • Autonomous work style but being a dedicated team player at the same time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Strong work ethics.
  • Proficient with common computer programs, including MS Office.
