Legal Secretary
To strengthen the Legal team of a med tech company, we are seeking a Paralegal,
Core Responsibilities Contract & Document SupportAssist in the drafting, review, formatting, and preparation of various agreements (distribution, licensing, manufacturing, services, intercompany, IT, R&D-related contracts, etc.).
Coordinate contract execution, signature workflows, filing, and archiving.
Prepare and maintain corporate legal documents such as powers of attorney, resolutions, and meeting minutes.
Legal Operations & ResearchConduct legal research and prepare summaries, memos, or internal notes for the Legal team.
Liaise with external legal counsel by coordinating documentation, deadlines, and information requests.
Intellectual Property SupportProvide administrative support for trademark and patent portfolio management, including tracking deadlines, coordinating filings, and maintaining records.
Compliance SupportAssist in the development, implementation, and updating of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
Support internal audits and investigations by gathering documentation, preparing files, and monitoring follow‑up actions.
Help ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
Business SupportProvide day‑to‑day legal and administrative assistance to business teams by managing routine legal requests.
Contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials on legal and compliance topics.
Skills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role; experience in the healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sector is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, international environment.
Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative, proactive team player.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Fluency in English and French.
High ethical standards and strong respect for confidentiality.
Proficiency with MS Office and commonly used legal administrative tools.
