Location: Genf
Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.
Your TasksResponsible for supporting Legal, Ethics & Compliance activities for Switzerland. Ensures adherence to Swiss law, group policies, and ethical standards across all business units (Lab IVD, pathology/genetics, radiology). Provides legal advice, reviews contracts, supports risk management and compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Advisory & Contracts
- Provide timely legal advice on contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with suppliers, clients, HCPs, and public bodies.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss law, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with external counsel when needed.
- Support legal risk assessment and mitigation activities.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Conduct compliance and legal risk assessments and help implement mitigation plans.
- Identify legal/compliance risks with business units and propose solutions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, and AML regulations.
- Support internal investigations and corrective actions when potential breaches occur.
Ethics & Compliance Programs
- Support the development, implementation, and monitor compliance policies and processes.
- Ensure training on bribery, AML, fraud, third‑party due diligence, conflicts of interest, etc.
- Support governance for Swissentities and maintain the litigation tracker.
Group Support
- Contribute to group‑level Legal & Compliance projects and initiatives (policies, training, transformation).
- Promote ethical culture, transparency, and continuous improvement in compliance processes.
- Minimum 3 years PQE; advanced legal degree.
- Strong experience in healthcare and ethical compliance.
- Experience in international companies.
- Fluent in at least two languages (English/French/German).
- Team‑oriented, resilient, culturally sensitive, and highly ethical.
