Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Your team

Pictet Tech designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.

The Data centre Services unit is responsible for building reliable infrastructures that host applications throughout the Pictet Group. As such, we design, develop, and operate platforms that balance security, compliance, performance, and resilience on the public and private cloud.

• Design, build, operate and continuously improve our on‑prem and cloud hosting platforms.
• Participate to in on‑call duties in rotation with other team members.
• Develop internal APIs, tooling and processes that improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Promote modern software development and Dev Ops/SRE practices.
• Teach, mentor, grow and advise other domain experts and teams in the organisation.
• Lead or coordinate technical projects.
• Contribute to the product vision and roadmap of the hosting platforms, prioritise technical work.

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Cloud technology certification and/or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant knowledge of architecture topics such as integration, security, network and identity and access management.
• Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming, and scripting languages (Python, Java, Go, bash, Power Shell, or equivalent).
• Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Experience with infrastructure management tools (monitoring and observability, logging, configuration management, etc.).
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deeply curious and eager to learn technologies and skills.
• Focuses on proactive strategies to prevent issues before they occur.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Swiss residency or willingness to relocate.
