Join our Information and Data (I&D) division as we embark on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The BORA (meaning “better” in Swahili) project aims at delivering a new ERP solution that will enable IATA to deliver on its fiduciary responsibilities as well as deliver more value to the business.

Collaborating with stakeholders across IATA Information & Data (I&D) and IATA Corporate Service teams (CS), the Head ERP Implementation will strategically drive the technical implementation of the BORA project activities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing end-to-end processes and supporting the implementation of best practices across the organization.

Position reports to the SVP Information and Data, Chief Information and Data Officer.

The Head ERP Implementation will ensure the new ERP solution is fit for purpose, best in class and supports IATA’s strategy.

• Act as the ERP Technical Implementation Lead of the BORA project and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes and requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide deep technical knowledge in SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, BW).
• Design and develop SAP solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and align with best practices.
• Design robust and scalable ERP solutions (in alignment with Service Provider proposal).
• Define ERP roadmaps, rollout plans and long-term system strategies.
• Set technical governance and best practices.
• Perform system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• In collaboration with the business teams, define their business processes to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Manage and mentor an ERP Business Analyst and a team of SAP consultants, developers and integration specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Ensure that program goals are in line with business objectives and that the ERP system is implemented successfully to meet the business requirements.
• Lead key ERP work streams such as data management and migration, solutions design, ERP architecture, security and infrastructure.
• In collaboration with the business teams, define and align on a change plan including business and technical transformation in line with the ERP Solution selected.
• Partner with the Business Transformation Lead to ensure the technical implementation is aligned with business needs.
• Conduct and evaluate RFP proposals, collaborating with all stakeholders to provide well-documented recommendations.
• Review and approve all enterprise architecture target states as they relate to Integration, Data, Application.

• 10 years’ experience in leading large scale ERP migration projects, in a multinational organization, involving multiple stakeholders across the organization.
• Proficiency in ERP architecture, implementation, integration, migration strategies, methodologies, accelerators and tools.
• Proven technical expertise in one or many of the SAP modules with a strong understanding of integration processes and technologies.
• Proven experience in implementing various processes (order to cash, procure to pay, treasury, procurement, consolidation, financial planning & reporting), data management and migration, change management, digital transformation and ERP cloud solutions. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to manage complex projects and ensure system integrity and performance.
• Fluency in English.
• Travel Required : 10%
