THE ROLE :

The Application Support Analyst will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by troubleshooting technical issues, providing timely and accurate feedback, and supporting our software solutions and platforms.

We operate in a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week in the office.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE :

  • Analyze, understand, and reproduce issues within Bottomline products.
  • Define and request configuration and code solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality technical directives.
  • Follow up, resolve, or escalate cases using ITIL procedures.
  • Track, describe, and update cases in our ITSM management system.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, third-party vendors, and clients.
  • Manage multiple cases in parallel.
  • Participate in a shared 24/7 On-Call rotation.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting.
    • Understanding of ITIL processes; ITIL 4 foundation certification is a plus.
    • Proficiency in SQL queries.
    • Experience with knowledge base management using KCS methodology.
    • Knowledge of the Fintech environment is advantageous but not required.

    Formal Education & Certification

    • University degree in IT or a related field such as Engineering, with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

    Languages

    Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German or Swiss-German is mandatory.
