We are looking for a full-time, Brussels-based strategic and creative Senior Social Media Managerto lead our agency’s social media efforts across multiple clients and industries. This role combines content leadership, community building, and influencer engagement to deliver campaigns that resonate and perform, in particular for EU institutions and international, multi-country clients.

Keyresponsibilities
- Design, develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Conduct audience research, competitive analysis, and platform audits to inform strategy.
- Identify and monitor emerging trends, platform updates, and influencer opportunities.
- Monitor the evolving legal context related to online marketing activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the creation of engaging content across Instagram, Linked In, Tik Tok, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with creatives to ensure content is visually compelling and on-brand.
- Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity across channels.
- Identify and vet relevant influencers aligned with client values and campaign objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and content creators.
- Negotiate partnerships, manage contracts, and coordinate deliverables.
- Track influencer performance and ROI, and optimise future collaborations.
Community management
- Lead engagement efforts, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Monitor sentiment and manage reputation across platforms.
- Build and nurture online communities around client brands.
Performance & reporting
- Define KPIs and track performance using analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Optimise campaigns based on data-driven learnings.
- Act as the primary social media contact for key clients.
- Present strategies, campaign ideas, and performance updates.
- Contribute to internal training.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in social media management, preferably within an agency setting with EU clients.
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, paid media, and influencer marketing.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills in English.
- Proficiency in social media tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Experience managing budgets and paid campaigns.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
