Beverage Manager

JOB PURPOSE

An exciting opportunity exists for a world-class Beverage Manager to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”. Leading a multicultural team, the Beverage Manager is responsible for the shipboard beverage operations across all bars, lounges, outlets, and crew areas. Manages the financial and Public Health aspects of beverage operations to ensure compliance with standards and procedures, and to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Leads beverage services professionally, focusing on guest experience, quality assurance, and cost control in every outlet.
• Ensures premium management, delivery, and storage of beverage products to maintain high quality. Monitors bar setups, service, and presentation to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Supervises bar team members, supporting and coaching them to improve performance. Evaluates their skills for effective succession planning and identifies areas for additional coaching.
• Adheres to company beverage service standards and Public Health Protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

• Fluent in English, both oral and written. Additional European languages (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, French) are advantageous.
• Professional diploma from a Hospitality/Bar School or Bar Training Academy is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality or cruise lines.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of Fidelio/Otalio, Micros, and Crunchtime is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and cost control procedures.
• Experience with start-ups or pre-openings is beneficial.
