Group Consolidation Controller

We are searching for an experienced Group Consolidation controller at our MSC Geneva facility.

• Manage and oversee the financial consolidation process for external audited financial statements and internal management reporting.
• Produce consolidated financial statements (cash flow, equity, tax reconciliation) in accordance with IFRS, Swiss GAAP, and CCO.
• Lead the audit process and address external audit requirements.
• Generate consolidated financial information for internal management, including ad‑hoc requests.
• Analyze consolidated financial results, identify trends, variances, and anomalies, and provide insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with the group controlling team on monthly YTD balance sheet and profit‑loss analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through unification of accounting principles.
• Develop and maintain group accounting principles to ensure an efficient and automated consolidation process.
• Maintain central consolidation adjustments on a monthly basis and coordinate adjustment review with local teams.
• Define, maintain, and develop the group chart of accounts, including adjustments for newly acquired businesses.
• Set up, document, and update internal control procedures and address consolidation process issues.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects and common assignments related to consolidation.

• Min 3‑5 years of experience with audit background and complex consolidation, ideally within a multinational corporation.
• Hands‑on, proactive, and results‑driven attitude.
• Advanced technical consolidation knowledge, systems, and controls.
• Mastering of Excel; experience with SAP FC is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to navigate high‑level overview.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and team skills, collaborating across departments and levels.
• Very good spoken and written English knowledge.
