Headquartered in Geneva, with offices in Zurich, Basel, Sion and a subsidiary in Uruguay, Banque Heritage is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy. As part of this expansion, we are looking for a Senior Investment Advisor to join our Investment Advisory team in Geneva.

Your role

As a Senior Investment Advisor, you will operate across asset classes, delivering tailored investment advice aligned with clients’ objectives, risk appetite, and evolving market conditions. The role combines bottom‑up idea generation with a holistic cross‑asset perspective to identify opportunities and translate them into actionable portfolio strategies. You will also contribute to the Bank’s investment framework, including the investment universe and house view, while maintaining close engagement with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct, manage, and optimize cross‑asset portfolios (equities, fixed income, & alternatives), balancing single securities, funds and structured products, and FX exposure.
  • Develop bottom‑up, cross‑asset investment ideas, translating them into clear portfolio recommendations.
  • Present investment strategies to Relationship Managers and clients, including risk/return expectations and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide proactive rebalancing recommendations.
Client Engagement & Distribution
  • Act as a trusted cross‑asset advisor to Relationship Managers and clients.
  • Contribute to client acquisition and retention through high‑quality investment proposals and narratives.
  • Participate in client meetings, delivering clear, value‑added insights.
  • Develop and maintain structured documentation of investment ideas.
  • Contribute actively to the Investment Committee and investment decision‑making process.
  • Monitor macroeconomic, financial, and geopolitical developments to inform investment views.
  • Contribute to the definition and communication of the Bank’s house view and key convictions.
  • Ensure alignment between bottom‑up ideas and top‑down strategy.
Investment Universe
  • Contribute to the development and oversight of the Bank’s cross‑asset investment universe for Advisory and Discretionary mandates.
  • Select investment opportunities across asset classes using a disciplined bottom‑up approach.
  • Maintain and distribute recommendation lists aligned with the Bank’s core convictions.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 10 years of prior experience in a similar role within Private banking;
  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CWMA recommended; CIIA or CFA is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA), Python is an advantage.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, or other investment platforms is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French. additional languages are a plus.
  • Proactive mindset, collaborative spirit and ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
