Regulatory Reporting Officer Private Bank

A Private Bank based in Geneva is looking to strengthen its Regulatory Reporting team with a Regulatory Reporting Officer.

This position sits within a specialist reporting function responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of regulatory disclosures in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape (transactions).

As part of a dedicated reporting team, you will play a key role in overseeing daily regulatory submissions and ensuring data integrity across multiple reporting streams. The scope covers European and Swiss regulatory frameworks, including transaction and trade reporting obligations (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, FMIA/FINFRAG and related disclosure requirements).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily regulatory reporting submissions to external platforms and regulators
• Performing regular reconciliations, data quality checks and statistical analyses
• Investigating discrepancies and coordinating corrections with internal stakeholders
• Managing queries related to regulatory or tax reporting from internal departments and external counter parties
• Maintaining and updating reporting databases and tools
• Acting as liaison with reporting service providers (e.g., ARM, APA, Trade Repositories)
• Supporting regulatory change initiatives, system upgrades and related testing
• Contributing to regulatory projects, audits and data deep-dives, including detailed investigations and data analysis
• Producing recurring and ad-hoc internal reporting and metrics

This is a role requiring a strong end-to-end understanding of operational flows and regulatory risk exposure within a banking environment.

• 3–5 years of experience in banking or financial services, ideally in regulatory reporting or operations
• Good understanding of financial instruments and transaction flows
• Solid experience in data reconciliation and analytical review
• Strong Excel skills (Access knowledge is a plus)
• Exposure to regulatory projects or change initiatives
• Fluent in French and English
• Swiss residence required
