Investment Advisor - Private Banking

On a temporary basis, to start soon, our client (a leading private bank in Geneva, with close-knit human-sized team), is seeking an intermediate-level Investment Advisor/Portfolio Manager with strong knowledge of Avaloq and cross-assets. Develop and provide investment recommendations, as well as portfolio and performance analyses, in compliance with regulatory and tax frameworks. Manage client relationships proactively for advisory and discretionary mandates.

Generate and structure multi-asset investment ideas in close coordination with internal specialist teams. Design and present thematic investment solutions for wealth management advisors.

• University degree in finance, economics, or a related field (HEC or equivalent) and/or recognized certification (CFA, AZEK)
• Around 4-6 years+ of proven experience in a similar role within Swiss private banking
• Direct exposure to managing HNWI/UHNWI private clients as an investment advisor and/or portfolio manager (cross-assets)
• Strong expertise in financial markets and ability to lead high‑level investment discussions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong commercial sense, and results‑oriented
• Avaloq experience an absolute must
• Fluent in English;

• Free to start this 3-4 month+ temporary role/fixed term contract
• Valid Swiss work permit; frontalier OK
