Position: Cash Transfers Specialist - Temporary 6 months
Location: Genf

We are currently supporting one of our clients, a Swiss private bank based in Geneva, in their search for a Cash Transfers Specialist.

Responsibilities :

  • Execute and monitor all incoming and outgoing payment activities, ensuring accurate processing of client transfers and receipt of funds.
  • Perform controls related to payment issuance and collections to guarantee accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
  • Validate incoming and outgoing cash movements and perform daily reconciliations to ensure proper cash positioning.
  • Handle OFAC alerts and perform related Compliance checks, escalating when required and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain high quality standards while working under operational deadlines and cut-off constraints.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide operational support and act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders including Relationship Managers, branches and support functions (Compliance, Legal, Credit, Treasury, Trading, etc.).
  • Act as backup for FX and deposit activities when required.

Profile & Requirements

  • CFC or equivalent academic background.
  • 3–7 years of experience in payments, cash operations or a similar banking operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SIC and SEPA payment schemes.
  • Comfortable processing MT and MX (ISO 20022) payment messages.
  • Exposure to FX transactions or fiduciary placements is considered a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, control mindset and ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured and fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in French and English required.
  • Swiss residency is mandatory.
