Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join Kenes Associations. This is a part‑time, hybrid position (60%‑80%), offering the opportunity to be part of a global organization with international interfaces and exposure to multiple entities and currencies. Reporting to the Finance & Office Manager based in Geneva, you will support both financial operations and office administration, working closely with international teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare bi‑monthly online payments for several entities.
  • Manage credit card process and recharge related costs to the customers.
  • Support in managing the office (mails, conference room, IT).
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for both Swiss and International Societies.
  • Bookkeeping in multiple currencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information to prepare Association’s accounts.
  • Update budget and projection.
  • Prepare financial reports (Balance sheets accounts, Profit & Loss accounts).
  • Assist with the year‑end closing procedures and supporting the preparation of financial statements for audit work.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliation.
Requirements & Experience
  • 3 years professional experience in accounting.
  • Perfectly fluent in French and English.
  • Comfortable with Office 365 and Teams.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good level of Excel proficiency.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
