Junior Private Banker – Eastern Europe Desk

For our client, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a Junior Private Banker to join one of their teams covering Eastern European markets.

This is a hybrid position combining relationship management support and direct client servicing (farming). The role is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented professional who is eager to grow within private banking and develop long-term client relationships.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to two Relationship Managers active on the Eastern Europe market
• Handle administrative and operational tasks related to client portfolio management
• Execute stock market orders and follow up on transactions
• Coordinate account openings and closings (administrative, legal, and IT aspects)
• Monitor and process client correspondence (mail, e‑mail, internal requests)
• Prepare client documentation and meeting packs for Relationship Managers
• Manage a limited number of existing client relationships, ensuring regular contact and service quality
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and compliance of the team’s activities

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in private banking or a similar environment
• Solid understanding of banking operations, KYC, and investment products
• Fluent in English and one Eastern European language (e.g. Russian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, etc.);
  French is an asset
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Team player, client-oriented, and motivated to grow within private banking
