Quant Analyst Macro Desk

We are expanding our Geneva-based systematic research group and are seeking a Junior Quantitative Researcher with strong technical foundations and early exposure to quantitative finance or applied research. This role is best suited to someone who has already spent time working with real data and models, and who is keen to deepen their experience in a professional investment environment.

You will work closely with senior members of the investment team, contributing directly to research projects that progress from initial hypothesis through to live deployment.

• Developing and testing quantitative signals across macro and multi-asset markets
• Working with large-scale datasets to identify patterns and inefficiencies
• Writing robust, well-structured code to support research and production workflows
• Partnering with portfolio managers and senior researchers to ope rationalise research ideas
• Reviewing model behaviour and helping to refine existing strategies over time

• Doctorate from a leading university in a numerate discipline such as mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, or computer science
• Up to three years of relevant experience, with practical exposure to quantitative research, systematic trading, or data‑driven modelling strongly preferred
• Strong programming capability (Python and/or C++), with an appreciation for maintainable, production‑quality code
• Sound grounding in statistical analysis, machine learning methods, time‑series data, and optimisation
• A thoughtful, detail‑oriented approach to problem solving and a genuine interest in markets
• Current residency in Geneva is required

• Experience working on macro‑oriented or cross‑asset systematic strategies
• Understanding of portfolio construction, execution, or research infrastructure
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or modern data processing pipelines
