Finance Manager-single family office

Overview

Our client is the Financial and Administrative arm of an international single-family office overseeing the family’s financial investments, private assets and companies.

As Finance Manager you will oversee the accounting & Treasury activities, review budgets, prepare financial statements under IFRS and oversee audits. In order to do so you will rely on senior accounting teams and a network of stakeholders and long-term partners (asset managers, lawyers, tax experts, banks…). The role involves a strong supervision, but also coordination and problem-solver approach to deal with a wide variety of technical matters.

Acting as an Expert and person of trust for the family and top management, you will be able to provide clear advice on any Accounting, Tax, Administrative or Legal issue related to their asset and wealth management. As a strategic partner you will participate in the negotiation of contracts and execution of transactions / financial modelling for acquisitions & disposals.

• 15 to 20 years of experience in a Finance position involving corporate accounting (private accounting is a plus), financial controlling, budgeting and treasury management.
• Professional Accounting certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc).
• Big 4 or similar background.
• Experience of family office or HNW accounting is an advantage.
• Exposure to financial investments desirable.
• Team Management experience.
• Strong sense of client service and loyalty.
• Commercially focused, analytical with good judgment.
• Reliable and discrete.
• Strong organization and reliability on deliverables.
• IT proficiency eg. accounting systems, Microsoft suite, security conscious.
• C2 level of spoken and written English. Intermediate French nice to have.

• A strong analytical yet pragmatic approach to solving problems.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and take initiative.
