Responsibilities May Include- Assist with managing the product, documentation and payment flow to customers, suppliers, and freight providers for the physical trades of the assigned business unit.
- Learn how to maintain accurate data in our ERP system as per company policy.
- Aid colleagues in ensuring the import and export customs processes of the products traded are managed efficiently.
- Look for ways to improve processes, maximize performance, and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with various departments internally to understand logistical and compliance-based requirements related to individual trades.
- Communicate with local and international team members.
- Help colleagues manage relationships with key suppliers, customers, and service providers to ensure an effective execution of physical bulk and containerized trade operations.
- Assist with special ad-hoc projects related to logistics and supply chain management.
- Contribute to the growth/development of the operations team and to the positive working environment.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
- 0-1 years’ internship experience in energy or other commodity businesses preferred.
- Product knowledge in gas, oil, and/or petrochemical markets preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience working in an ERP system preferred.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, Import/Export Procedures & Documents preferred.
- Dynamic interpersonal skills with strong verbal, writing and presentation skills.
- Capacity to work under time-sensitive business and reporting deadlines.
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
