Head of Product

EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a leading dental organization in its search for a Head of Product to support the continued growth and development of its Swiss business unit.

Our client is focused on strengthening its commercial performance and market positioning in Switzerland through a well-structured, data-driven product and pricing strategy.

As Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, optimizing, and managing the Swiss product portfolio and pricing architecture, ensuring alignment with business unit strategy, customer needs, and competitive market dynamics.

You will take ownership of product marketing strategy, portfolio management, pricing and promotion optimization, as well as cross-functional coordination with Marketing, Purchasing, Suppliers, and international teams driving growth.

This role is based in Switzerland and reports directly to the General Manager of Switzerland.

• Defining and implementing product and product marketing strategies in line with the overall business unit and commercial strategy
• Driving business growth through effective portfolio management, pricing optimisation, and product positioning
• Conducting in-depth benchmarking analysis of competitors in Switzerland, including assortments, pricing, margins, and promotions, and implementing corrective actions where required
• Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and supply developments across product categories and families to inform strategic decisions
• Reviewing market studies, extracting insights, and translating findings into actionable commercial and product plans
• Managing and optimising prices, promotions, margins, and product ranges to maximise profitability
• Defining, updating, and expanding the product portfolio, including the introduction of new materials and the development of new supplier relationships

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Sciences, Market Research, or a related field; MBA or higher education is highly valued
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product marketing, ideally within the dental or healthcare-related sector
• Strong expertise in product portfolio management, pricing strategy, market research, and competitive analysis
• High level of English and French;
  Spanish at an intermediate or advanced level is highly desirable
