Redstone Commodity Search has been exclusively engaged by a rapidly growing physical commodities trading group to assist in the set up of a new Petcoke trading team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Establish and lead the petroleum coke trading team, setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives while integrating seamlessly with the existing metals trading business.
• Develop and execute trading strategies to maximise profitability while effectively managing risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in Asia, LATAM, and Africa, as well as global customers and other stakeholders in the pet coke market.
• Monitor global markets, analyse trends, and provide insights to capitalise on trading opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with shipping, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of trades.

Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in physical petroleum coke trading.
• Deep market expertise, including supply chains, pricing dynamics, and key industry players.
• Strong industry network within the physical pet coke and seaborne freight markets.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Role based in Geneva.
