Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN Float for a travel nursing job in Geneva, New York.
Job Description & Requirements
• Specialty:
Float
• Discipline: RN

Start Date:
ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
•
Employment Type:
Travel
RN Position – Float to ICU / ER / MS / MST
Floating Requirement
• Must be comfortable floating to:
- ICU
- Emergency Room
- Med/Surg
- MST (Medical Surgical Telemetry)
Licensure Requirements
• Active NY State RN license required (no exceptions).
Required Certifications (Must-Have)
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS – AHA
• PALS – AHA
• NIHSS
• Basic Coronary Care – must be completed within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification – must be completed within 90 days of hire
Preferred Certifications (Nice-to-Have)
• Emergency Nurses Association certification (recommended within 2 years)
• TNCC – recommended within 2 years
Professional & Behavioral Expectations
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Able to communicate professionally and courteously
• Strong skills in:
- Time management
- Prioritization
- Working independently
- Team collaboration
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Computer literacy required
- Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR)
